ISTIP Independent Schools Teacher Induction Panel

The Independent Schools Teacher Induction Panel is the single largest statutory body for induction, with over 1000 NQTs. We set and uphold high standards with regards to the processes and procedures of induction within our schools.

IStip forges strong partnerships with schools to provide meaningful induction of the highest quality. Together we develop child centred, responsible, engaged and reflective teachers who will enjoy long and fulfilling careers. Training IStip offers training throughout the year to Induction Coordinators/Tutors and NQTs alike. On our site, you can find details and information about the training for NQTs held throughout the year. You can find information about the regional training centres where the Summer term training will take place. For Coordinators/Tutors, we run a series of one day courses throughout the country.
